Lisa - June Kit - Love XOXO

Hello and welcome to my first Scrapping Fun Kit layout for June. I love the Pink floral theme of this kit.

I haven't matted the photo in this layout mainly because it is quite bold already and I wanted it to blend in amongst the flowers more than stand out.

I placed the kit white floral patterned paper behind the photo. I have fussy cut the kit printed roses and clustered them around the left side of the photo with the kit crocheted & handmade flowers. The lilies along the bottom are from my stash.I placed these without any adhesive first to make sure they fitted well and then took a photo of the layout before taking them off and sticking them down. I also used the crocheted doily, some wood veneer hearts and a button (all from the kit) to add a little more texture and balance.

Coming further across the bottom of the photo I used half a paper doily from the kit, The xoxo gold foil acetate embellishment is from Reject Shop. I always find it hard to adhere these without it showing through. I tried Tack-it Glue this time, its not very noticeable but has come through in the photography.

The kit tassel is just so soft and I have used this on the right corner of the photo to soften the black in the photo. I have clustered this with a kit button and kit wood veneer hearts. I cut the white flower chain to use the flowers separately and added one to this cluster.

Across the top of the page I have used the kit braided pink ribbon and trimmed it with some Pink silver trimmed ribbon I had in my stash.

Along the left bottom I have used another gold foil on acetate word "love" his is from reject shop. Again I have run the pink silver trimmed ribbon from my stash along the bottom of the page.

On the right bottom I have used the kit journal block and trimmed it with 2 white flowers from the kit and some flower shaped sequins I had in my stash.

I love how this layout turned out so soft and I hope you have enjoyed it too.
