Morgyn ~ Autumn TN Kit ~ An Autumn Day

Hi Scrappers,

Sharing my latest travellers notebook spread with you today.  I am using my Kraft notebook from the Scrapping Fun Kits, basic kit and the Autumn Travellers Notebook kit.

I started with the green and purple piece of paper for my background and built the rest of the page up around that.  I cut out the arrow die-cut then used the kit alphas for the 'notes' label.

I matted my photo with the red die-cut piece. I popped a tag behind the photo for my journaling, using the kits washi tape along the bottom of the page to fill in the gap of the smaller paper.

On the left side of the page I added the red boarder strip to match the red mat behind the photo.
To finished off the page I added a couple of circle embellishments.

This page together so easily and only took 15 minutes, it helps that the kits are so nicely coordinated.

Raelene - March Kit - Easter Egg Decorations

I was inspired by a post from Jennifer Dawn to make these cute Easter Egg Decorations with the boys using the papers from the March 2018 Kit.

I have created a Silhouette Cut file for this project due to my hand issues, it cuts 2 large and 2 small from each paper from the kit and is designed for use with 5.5 x 7.5 inch papers.
You can download the cut file here https://www.dropbox.com/s/1it5uoogbewcavv/Easter%20eggs.studio3?dl=0

Fold each egg in half, adhere 1 side together of 2 eggs, adhere some wool or ribbon in the middle, tying a knot at each end of the egg or adding a bead.  Adhere the last 2 eggs to finish the 3D effect.

This was a quick project that the kids enjoyed working on with me.

There are still a couple of these great kits left so if you would love one head to the Subscription Tab and fill in the form, enter March in the promo code box so I know you want the March Kit.

Lauren ~~ St Paddy's Kit ~~ Pot of Gold Friendship.... Non St Paddy's day memory.

Hey there everyone.......

I knew that this kit would go so nicely with some mixed media and even a non St Paddys day photo.

My son and his best friend have a strong and wild friendship - so its like they have found the pot of gold in terms of friendship and that is the idea behind the layout.

I chose paints and scraped them onto the page with a spatula.

Once it was dried I started an embellishment cluster to the left. Starting with lace trims and the straw to have a vertical design.

The photo was then nestled in to that vertical cluster, after it was framed by the orange and green spotted paper  -- adding in fabric flowers and the metal flowers and the resin pot of gold.

I added the tag, cut out the rainbow and journaled to the bottom of the photo. Completing the layout with sequin coins and leprechauns.

Jarka - Easter moodboard - Favourite chocolate

Hi all!

Jarka here. Today I would like to show a new layout in my TN.
The challenge is for non-standard scrapbooking. See the rules in the Challenge Tab.

I used the colours and chocolate for my Traveler´s notebook.

I used ink pads to make a background,
added some stickers and my favourite slim washitape.

And some stickers are masking few mistakes :D
It´s good to have some nice phrases, just in case.

The process video you can watch here (EN subtitles available):

Thank you for watching and I´m looking forward to your entries.

Wish you nice day!

Lauren ~~ St Patrick's Embellishment Kit ~~ TN childhood memories layout

Hey there everyone!

When I seen the "what's in the kit?" video I knew I had to get the kit and make make make!

I haven't got any St Paddy's day relevant photos but I knew that I enjoyed the magic of the day when I was a kid so I journaled about that in my TN.

I loved the green lace trim so I started with that - gluing it to the bottom of the page and then the layout came together so quickly after that.

I tucked in the end of a tag and used the pot of gold cut a part at right side of the lace.

I added the postcard to top left of the layout to draw your eye that way. I then sprinkled sequins around the page before journaling.

The seqiuns had some awesome clovers, leprechauns and gold coins so was very very fitting.

I used green sharpie and my calligraphy pen to decorate the page with the story.

Sarah - March Kit - Autumn Leaves

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with the most gorgeous Scrapping Fun March embellishment kit! You would have seen my moodboard layout using the contents of this kit....but there was more to come!
This is a photo of my youngest son running and crunching the autumn leaves on our front lawn last year. Whilst the image is blurry, I love the photo and knew it was perfect for use with this kit. I used some of my printed deli paper from gelli printing as a mat for the photo. The colours of this print were perfect - oranges, purples, blues and yellows. This picked up on the colours in the photo and complimented the leaves from the kit. I also adhered a piece to the bottom of the layout to balance it.
I adhered the fabric leaves to the layout as the main point of focus. I love how they look like they are falling off the page. The cut aparts were adhered, layered with some of that delicious Autumnal washi tape from the kit. To finish off the layout, I doodled around the edges in a black paint pen.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and if you havent already, run to get your March embellishment kit from Scrapping Fun Kits!

Lauren ~~ Autumn TN kit layout

Morning Scrapping friends,

I am so excited to share this TN layout that I made using the autumn TN kit from scrapping fun kits.

Last autumn we went to Sydney and many photos were taken and I made an 6x8 album. This photo was printed as a 6x8 size but wasn't used so today was its lucky day :)

I cut it to size and placed it on left side - covering the majority of the page just leaving a nice thin white border.

I then got set about adding some of the lovely flat embellishments from the TN kit. I did test a full page of paper but thought it was too much so ditched that idea.

I picked out a tag and placed it on top of some strips of washi on an angle to make it look artsy hehe.

I started to journal on the tag but wasn't much I wanted to really say for this layout so was more of a title.

I was then auditioning some of the fillers cards to nestle in the space above the tag and was reminded of this lovely card that had leaves and the words "Happiness is ... autumn leaves". I thought this was perfect - i fussy cut out the leaves and the phrase and glued the leaves so they were floating down the page as autumn leaves often do and filled the tag with some more washi and the phrase strips.

Super simple but super effective and wonderful TN layout. It was the first time I have used a full page photo and I absolutely love love love it.

Lauren.

Raelene - St Paddy's Kit - Lucky Banner

I wanted to create a banner for St Paddy's day from a cardboard box so I grabbed a empty wine box from a friend who has a wine with dinner to tear/cut up to make a cute banner and I was just going to cut the lettering from cardstock when I found this cute free printable Lucky Banner I felt it was just what I needed for my lettering on the upcycled wine box banner I wanted to create.  I just tore the top flaps of the box and cut the long sides in half, trimming the shorter side to match the length of those.

Originally I wanted to stencil on the cardboard but due to time constraints I decided to go with simple layers using the papers and cut apart in the St Paddy's Kit from Scrapping Fun Kits.
I cut the dot paper into 4 and the shamrock paper into 3 so that I had one piece twice the size of the other 2.  Then I cut 2 of the tags and the pot of gold from the cut apart to use for layering.

I started just by grabbing one letter at a time and creating layers behind the free printable flag.

This cute tag from the cut apart was a great way to add a layer to the L, it has a slight overhang at the top which I love.

U and Y were a very simple lot of layering with just a piece of each paper, I also cut a scrap out from behind the Y to use on the shamrock.

C I just used the dot paper and the fussy cut pot of gold from the cut apart.  How cute is that pot of gold?

K and the Shamrock have the rainbow label from the cut apart, I simply trimmed it slightly to the right of the rainbow so I would have the left over for another layer elsewhere.

I loved how they all looked together while I was waiting on the glue to dry before I add the ribbon.
I simply used my standard hole punch to pun 2 holes in each banner and then thread multiple strands of orange bakers twine through the holes.

Getting a photo of the  Banner in action on St Paddy's Day was difficult due to some strong wind we were having but one of the other Mum's got this great shot of it.

I love how this banner turned out, it certainly was a hit.

If you would love one of these St Paddy's Kits there are still a few left so head to the Subscription Tap and fill in the form, enter St Paddy's in the promo code box.

Lisa - Easter Moodboard - Happy Easter Card

Hello, and welcome to my take on the Scrapping Fun Kits, Easter moodboard challenge. I took inspiration from the colour, eggs and Easter theme. I didn't have anything Bilby related so I used the standard Bunnie instead.

I have an original Cricut machine that I used to cut these bunnies and have mounted them on some gorgeous Easter egg paper from the Scrapping Fun March Embellishment Kit. The Salutation is Wood veneer "Happy" and some Kraft coloured lettering that I got from Kmart some time ago. I ran out of A's so I used an upside down V.

I have them added a little embellishment cluster using Embellishments and words from the March Kit. The little Silver Bunny charm is so cute I mounted him on his own special egg.

...And this is the final result. I hope you enjoyed my 6"x6" Easter Card blog inspired by the Easter Moodboard at Scrapping Fun.

Morgyn ~ Easter mini album ~ March Kit

Hi Scrappers,

I am sharing a little Easter project with you. I wanted to do something a little different to document Easter this year, so I decided to make a mini album and this months Scrapping a fun kit was perfect to embellish this little mini.

I made the mini album from scratch (you can see my process video here).  I used this cute bunny paper from the kit to cover the outside, then added my title (both from my stash and the kit)

For the inside pages I used some light green card-stock to create the pages, flaps and pockets. I lined the inside covers with another piece of paper from the kit, then finished off the first 2 pages with some cut apart pieces.

The middle pages I made a lift up flap and a little pocket. I used a cut apart piece to fit in the pocket for some journaling and a photo.  Embellishments from the kit and also from my stash, love the pink puffy bunny sticker!

For the back page I added these cute bunny train stickers to the bottom of the page and added another title.  Again finishing off the inside back cover with the easter egg paper.

Don't forget to check out my full process video here.

Raelene - St Paddy's Kit - Card and Cute Paperclip

When I saw the cute pot of gold resin I just had to make it into a quick but very cute paperclip to highlight when St Paddy's is in my diary since I am organising a event for my local home schooling community.

I simply adhered it to a large paperclip with Glossy Accents and punched a circle from the shamrock paper to cover the back.  One of the Chiffon flowers would have been great on the back for a double  sided clip but I wanted to be able to use it in a scrapbooking layout recording our St Paddy's memories this year so I needed the back to be flat.

I used it to hold the vintage postcard over hubby's roster in my planner spread for a cute planner spread photo and then took the card out to make a card.

I decided to create a simple card using one of the vintage postcards in the St Paddy's kit.

I punched some white cardstock with a border punch.
Then I trimmed some of the green lace in half length ways so I could adhere some to each side of the vintage postcard.
I added one of those gorgeous filigree to the front and called this card done.

I love how quickly it came together.  I hope the friend I send it to enjoys it.

If you would love one of these St Paddy's Kits there are still a few left so head to the Subscription Tap and fill in the form, enter St Paddy's in the promo code box.

Jarka - Autumn TN Kit- Nice Autumn

Hi, friends!

Today I´m using Traveler´s notebook kit March.

I make leaves using this nice sheet of paper from kit.
***

I stamp and cut some nice phrases.
***

This paper I like the most :) It will be a background and a pocket in one. I cut the line on the place, where the red color ends. And stick it into my TN.
***

I add two small cards from kit in the pocket. There could be some notes, photo or something.
***

Now it´s time to make the right side. The leaves are as decor in corners. It looks better, when you stick it a little over the edge and cut the rest.
***

Thank you for reading and wish you nice day.

Raelene - St Paddy's Kit - Cake

As I was creating my layout for the March White with 1 Challenge with the St Paddy's Kit and other kits I was inspired to scrap this photo of my son at my birthday a couple of years ago using the emerald green chiffon flower from the St Paddy's Kit and other goodies.

I love how that little scrap of the green felt trim added a little bit of texture to this cluster.

Cutting up the shamrock doily allowed me to use it on this layout to give a little more texture.

I love how this layout turned out.  The St Paddy's kit was perfect for recording this memory.  If you would like one of these fun kits there are still a couple left so head to the Subscription Tab and fill in the form.

Sarah - Easter Moodboard challenge

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with a layout for the Scrapping Fun Easter Moodboard challenge. I had this photo of my son from last year where he was so proud of the hand painted Easter bag he had made at day care, we took a photo on the front verandah when he got home. This was perfect for this challenge. Lets take a look at the Moodboard and my layout.
This layout is on a Kraft background and I added some Dylusions paints to the edges to not only pick up on the Moodboard colours, but the painted effect of the Easter bag in the photo. I used the Scrapping Fun March embellishment kit to embellish the layout. This kit is so beautiful and is perfect for noth only an Autumn theme but also an Easter theme. Lets take a close look at some of the cut aparts.
The papers are just divine, with small, delicate Easter themed print and that washi tape...oh my! I just LOVE it!!!. I tore the papers and matted the photo on top of the paper cluster.
The Easter egg buttons are just beautiful - here I have adhered one down and layered the other with foam tape so it sat up off the page. The layout was completed with some of the little plastic coloured eggs (so cute!) and I called it done.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and be quick to purchase you March embellishment kit from Scrapping Fun Kits!

Lauren - March Kit - Autumn Walks

Hey everyone !

When I unboxed this March embellishment kit, my layout was already formulating in my head...watch it here on my YouTube channel

So I searched for a relevant photo and came across this sweet layout of my eldest son and his dad walking in the park during Autumn.

It was a 4x6 but I cut it down to take off excess grass in the photo. I then got started on placing the plastic leaves around the photo as a top cluster. Using only a dab a wet glue to make it stick but the leave still lifted off the page at parts to add texture to the layout.

I then knew I was going to use the brown felt lace trim and washi tape, so I get set working on including them.

I cut out some of the flowers and leaves so it was less straight and added it underneath some leaves on an angle to make it look like an intergral part of the leaf cluster. I then added some smaller parts of the felt lace trim through the rest of the leaf cluster to draw your eye around the layout.

I originally thought I was going to use the washi as a border to the photo, but with the amazing leaves and felt lace trim I didn't want it there now. Instead I started a cluster in bottom right part of the layout to balance out the photo and main cluster. I used two strips of washi, added brown spotty ribbon and a cut a part phrase to complete that cluster. Using them all together in different lengths, ripped edge of washi and banner edge on the phrase, and also layering them upon each other makes this cluster look like you spent forever organising it and making the texture and depth shine. The phrase cut a part was stapled to the cluster to add that bonus texture.

It took me a little while to decide where to place the cut a part phrase "crisp air" but its final resting place was decided after adding the title, because it draws eye from the leave cluster and title, through to this phrase cut a part and then down to the washi cluster in bottom of the layout. I added the date with two tones of orange sharpie pens, seeing as I dont have a stamp that goes back to that year.

I completed the layout by inking the edges with orange archival ink to frame the layout, instead of adding a second paper as a border. I was a little messy with it so that some of the ink rubbed on the layout near the edge too, adding further interest.

Thanks for checking it out, leave some feedback below I would love to hear your thoughts. Also I have uploaded a video of the process on my YouTube channel, check it out here.

Happy Scrapping ~ Lauren
